ICEE 2008 Conference will be hosted by the University of Pécs, Pollack Mihály Faculty of Engineering in Pécs and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in Budapest on 28-31 July 2008. The University of Pécs was founded in 1367 and it is one of the biggest universities in Hungary now. It has thirty-two thousand students, two thousand three hundred teachers, the same number of administrative staff and a wide range of training programs. The university offers a broad range of training and degree programs that are aimed at training well-qualified experts with a wide intellectual horizon.

The Budapest University of Technology and Economics, founded in 1782, has more than 110 departments and institutes and operates within the structure of 8 faculties. With about 1100 lecturers, 400 researchers and other degree holders, numerous invited lecturers and practising expert specialists, approximately 800 of the university's 14000 students from 50 countries, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics issues about 70% of Hungary's engineering degrees.

The conference will be held at the Faculty Campus in Pécs and the Closing Ceremony will take place at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
